The way I got started in doing genealogy was by talking to my brother about our family history. He suggested that I try ancestry.com

So I tried their 2 week free demo. At the end of 2 weeks, I was hooked. That was 9 years ago. I have found that searching for one's family history & ancestry is a constant on going search. Every time I have found one thing, I have to edit other things. Also, finding records for ancestors, life of the time periods, ship listings, immigrations, & information about other countries in the 1500s & earlier is very challenging.

No matter what you find, or think that you have found everything...there's always more to find. Most genealogy sites ask you for a subscription fee to use their services. I only ask a fee for the research I do & for whom ever I find. Plus, I will gladly go over everything I have found for you by email, text, or by phone. Everything that you pay for will go directly back into the business of getting research materials in being able to help one look for their family history.

With this business being completely nonprofit, any help with donations will gladly appreciated. Please read through everything on this site & ask questions. I will reply to anything written to me.

I don't claim to be able to do anything in searching for genealogy, I only ask for the chance to help others in finding out about their family history, ancestors, & who a person might be related to or come from. Anything given or asked will be thanked or replied to.

If you want to know about history & how it relates to your family, this is the best way to go about it. As one has put it the best way I can think of...'Seek & you shall find.' So if you don't look, you'll never learn anything & life is an ongoing journey & learning experience. Give it a try. At most, you will only have to pay $45 for the research I do. Everything in life is negotiable.
